Rooms & Rates

South River Country Inn offers extremely flexible accommodations. There are four private bedrooms with queen-sized beds, and three additional sleeping rooms that can be used in conjunction with these rooms to provide private suites for families with children or for family groups travelling together. Each bedroom is completely furnished with new Ethan Allen Furniture and is decorated in a theme consistent with its name. Jacuzzi tubs are in bathrooms serving Stars and Stripes, Morning Glory and Country Garden. Each room has satellite television. There is also a den and kitchen available for all guests to use. The den has satellite television and a game table and the kitchen has all new, modern appliances including a microwave and dishwasher. The entire cottage can sleep up to twelve and is a perfect place for a family reunion, a group getaway or a small business retreat.

Weather permitting, breakfast is served on the back veranda or on the front porch. These are real country breakfasts that most guests describe as brunch. French toast, blueberry pancakes, eggs, sausage, bacon, ham, fried potatoes or apples and a variety of homemade breads, muffins and treats. In case of inclement weather, breakfast is served in the kitchen, den and enclosed back porch.

Stars & Stripes: Features a truly patriotic theme, queen-size iron bed, private bath with whirlpool tub and shower and satellite television with digital stereo music.

Country Garden: Magnificent views, queen-size bed, deluxe private bathroom with double whirlpool tub and shower (room for two) and satellite television with digital stereo music.

Second Floor Guestrooms
Morning Glory: Bright, sunny and cheery room done in yellow and blue, queen bed and private bathroom with whirlpool tub and shower and satellite television with digital stereo music. Very popular with our honeymooners.

Birds’ Eye View: Fantastic view of the mountains. This three-room suite is ideal for families. One queen bed, one trundle bed (two singles) and one double bed. Private bathroom and satellite television with digital stereo music. Also available as a single room.

Rates: From $110 to $179 for two persons including hearty country breakfast (tax and gratuity not included). Additional persons are $25 each. Corporate rates and special rates for mid-week or extended stays available. Discounts available for AARPand AAA members. All rates subject to change without notice.

The entire inn can be rented for groups, meetings or weddings. A 2 night minimum stay is required on in-season weekends.
